Hi,
No removing the releases doesnt make sense. Generally I can accept applying the grandfathering rule on this one. However I would prefer if instead XML_Tree2 would be created and make the next RC under this new package name. The old releases will just stick and some information on the how and why can be added to the XML_Tree homepage.
