That's the plan. Though it didn't really kick into place for this
package.
Hmmm... While 100% compliance is hard to attain, perhaps we can improve
the ratio by creating the ability to email everyone who has a PEAR
account. This process would be used to inform everyone of new rules and
procedures.
Similarly, all new accounts should automatically get an email pointing
them to the appropriate URI's for the coding standards, naming
conventions, etc.
This would eliminate the "I didn't know" excuse and make finding things
easier.
I guess this also brings up the need to put the finishing touches on the
version numbering and package naming RFC's and put them up for votes.
Thoughts?
