Why leave the users in the illusion that there will be a stable XML_Tree 2.x release? The pain is minimal anyways (s/XML_Tree/XML_Tree2/) so fixing a dead end is just wasting ressources and will result in users thinking they can rely on non stable packages. regards, Lukas Smith smith@backendmedia.com _______________________________ BackendMedia www.backendmedia.com berlin@backendmedia.com Linn Zwoch Smith GbR Pariser Str. 44 D-10707 Berlin Tel +49 30 83 22 50 00 Fax +49 30 83 22 50 07No need really. Anyone who was relying on non stable code knew what they were getting themselves into.True but if we can avoid pain to users I think we should. I mean, even if it's non-stable the maximum should be done to lessen the pain brought on users.
