Hi,No removing the releases doesnt make sense. Generally I can accept applying the grandfathering rule on this one. However I would prefer if instead XML_Tree2 would be created and make the next RC under this new package name. The old releases will just stick and some information on the how and why can be added to the XML_Tree homepage. regards, Lukas Smith smith@backendmedia.com _______________________________ BackendMedia www.backendmedia.com berlin@backendmedia.com Linn Zwoch Smith GbR Pariser Str. 44 D-10707 Berlin Tel +49 30 83 22 50 00 Fax +49 30 83 22 50 07As such, either remove all 2.x releases from XML_Tree and merge'm into an XML_Tree2, or simply permit the XML_Tree 2.0.0 in XML_Tree itself, and have the package there as aIf we remove releases that have been there for 6 months, we will definitely break some stuff. At least I know that we will break XML_DTD. So I'm not in favor of removing releases this old.grandfatheredone that was established before the newer rules.
