Nothing was false. Nor did I want to **replace** your extension I said that ten times, and I even cited mysql.so and mysqli.so. == == Olivier: > I'm against having that extension into PECL. But it seems you and the other people I talked to are right, this is just an uphill battle I cannot win without having a crowbar or friends on the inside. Pierre's last statement above clearly shows that originally my request should have been accepted with open arms but nobody is even willing to actually step back and consider the point that I did not just add OOP to your codebase, I wrote a completely different library that just happens to share the same library as you, libGeoIP.
