Hey all, thanks for that tutorial. I got the compiling process working now. I've now the intl with ICU 4.8.1.1. But the result is still the same. fußball still becomes fussball. I expect that fußball becomes xn--fuball-cta. So intl is still not usable for me. Because the IDNA 2008 standard is now supported with ICU 4.8.1.1. The PECL package doesn't work with PHP 5.3, you must use the version that comes bundled with PHP.
