Windows is IMHO not Good for Production Server...and in other's opinion, it is - but it's completely beside the point. I have a laptop running windows, and a 2 workstations running windows, on which I do a lot of local development (then use cvs to manage sources and export to website). It is always frustrating to debug a problem, for 2 hours and then find out your code was good, just not on whatever platform - webdevelopers already have to deal with standards ignoring browsers, they don't need server-incompatibilities as well.
