This Wise InstallBuilder software seems to be pretty good.
It appears to be able to do almost everything we need - getting info from
the user, installing stuff in the appropriate places, editing the registry
and INI file. The only problem I've encountered is this:
When the installer software edits INI files, it expects the parameter names
in each section to be unique.
This is ok except for the windows extension dlls where the php.ini syntax is
extension=php_nsmail.dll
extension=php_calendar.dll
etc.
If I ask the Wise software to set multiple occurrences of extension, it just
replaces the one it just wrote with the next one, so the ini file ends up
with the final extension=whatever.dll line
Any thoughts for a work around?
Cheers
