...Zeev Suraski has answered none of my e-mail messages. Besides doing PHP he also wrote a MySQL auth module for Apache. I've had significant trouble getting it to run properly and have been e-mailing him over the past three weeks. While he has not seen fit to answer me, I have seen many posts from him here during that period. I'd appreciate a reply. I know that people who code public- domain software often have other jobs to do, but three weeks is still a long time to go without an answer and I am rather irritated that I have to escalate like this. I'm trying to get a site up for a big client. This is the last piece of the puzzle. Zeev, PLEASE answer this message.I didn't expect to see this here... Anyway, I'm sorry, but as I announced almost two years ago, I really don't have time to maintain mod_auth_mysql. This became even more painfully true in the last year, and even more in the last couple of months. I know it sucks, but I generally don't answer any mod_auth_mysql related Email, because I literally have no time for this. I can only guess that your question is related to creating a dynamic module version of mod_auth_mysql, and unfortunately, I cannot really help you. I know that this option doesn't really work in the scripts included in the 2.20 distribution, but I'm not an Apache whiz, nor do I have the time to start messing with this. Since I do realize that hundreds and thousands of people are trying mod_auth_mysql all the time, I asked friends in the PHP development team for help on this issue; Unfortunately, nobody was interested. I'll try to get this issue sorted out, but I really cannot promise anything. Zeev -- Zeev Suraski <zeev@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/
