erm,IMO nope. I think '<%/%>' are the most portable tags.
Why not use them? No XML trouble, <%= works okay, what more?
ASP has them, JSP has them, and I discovered even C has them! :)
int main() <% printf('see?'); %> works okay for me.
So why not turn asp (bad choice on the name) tags on by default
and advice on their use in XML context? Many coders will feel
at home with them.
