It's not supposed to behave that way, I'll try to see today why it does

I have observed in the last few weeks a number of Windows users in IrcNet's #php.de, asking "where does PHP look for the php.ini file". This question is normally answered by phpinfo() output. Today I saw for the first time of my life the actual output of phpinfo() on Windows, featureing the CGI SAPI (php 4.0.4-dev, 23-Nov-2000 on NT 5.0 build 2195). The phpinfo() output listed: Configuration File (php.ini) Path: php.ini I find this rather unhelpful. Here is the same output on a Solaris system: Configuration File (php.ini) Path: /opt/NUphp-4/lib Why is it that Windows output here is different. I suggest that this be changed.
