Hmm, isn't it that you can have the extension in source,
but cannot deliver an object containing it with an
actual gdbm linkage?

Same here, I believe. The old MySQL license allows use of the
old source under the conditions of that old license, but if
you link against the new source, it is GPL.

Hmm,
http://www.trolltech.com/products/download/freelicense/
...
The Qt Free Edition (version 2.2 and later) is released under
the Open Source license QPL, and GPL. The Qt Free Edition may
be freely copied and distributed, put on ftp-sites and CD-ROMs
etc. Qt Free Edition is provided with no warranty and no support.
...
Is that an "and" as in "&&" or as in "||"? They have a FAQ:
http://www.trolltech.com/developer/faq/free.html
...
Can I make software with the Qt Free Edition and release it
under the GPL, BSD, or Artistic license?
Yes. Since Qt Free Edition is provided under both QPL and GPL,
all license conflicts are avoided.
...
So it is an "and" as in "||". No problem here.
