The MySQL guys seem cool I dont think they are going to cause a problem with
this. Maybe Monty can tell us.. hes on this list isnt he?
The liciencing thing only becomes a problem when someone makes it a problem
as long as Sascha and The MySQL guys are OK with it (and anyone else whos
extensions are used) then I dont see theres a problem. We are talking about
minor compatibilities and the "genral" idea behind them all is pretty much
the same. I could see problems if we were commercial and they were OS but
thats not the case. We are all OS, would we have a problem, licience wise
(Maybe Zend would) if Apache started distributing PHP in its releases, it
wouldnt make a difference to our licience.. it would still be the same.
