Well, it won't get any easier to make that time, and you will find that
you end up limping along for years with a sub-par editor, making do.
Also, I'd recommend the very thin book from O'Reilly. If you're going
to have anything serious to do with UNIX, learning vi at a reasonable
level is almost mandatory.
