I've actually been in that situation, and ended up having to FTP the files
to my home computer, and then edit them with notepad there...
Well I know you're right, but vi's just so hard! *whine.*
Where is the tutorial you mentioned: how can i run/access it? do you mean
the vi man pages?
I have now been thoroughly convinced that vi is a very good thing to learn,
so i will step up my efforts to do so.
