I just want to note I'm with Zeev here too. PHP 4.3.X are minor bugfix
releases. This is pretty major, and imho too big a risk to take. Why
don't we, as Zeev proposed, provide a patch for people who use Solaris
on php.net?
Its not to say that the new code is bad, its just too far reaching for a
bugfix release, imho. There is always PHP 4.4 or PHP5, where the bug is
already fixed. Until then, supplying a patch shouldn't be too terrible.
