As you have stated Pierre wants to get all your proposed features into IT except for the cache. Pierre does see that some assistance to make the combination of IT with Cache_Lite is useful. However I think he plans to make a tutorial with the necessary code snippets IIRC. Also he told me that he intents to incorporate these features into IT and so he either wants patches or he will at some point write the necessary functionality himself. Anyways I have stated my POV. I guess I am putting my fears about PEAR moving towards chaos above Alexey's interest here. I am sorry Alexey as I do welcome your efforts. I don't want to turn you off from PEAR. I am however aware that I am taking that risk. But as PEAR is a community it does not matter so much what one single individual thinks. Regards, Lukas
