I believe current views is that full frameworks shouldn't be in PEAR as
a whole, since they tend to be not very modular (in the PEAR sense of
the word), however if you can split parts of the framework out so that
they'll work on their own I'm sure at least some of them would be more
than welcome.

Probably not - my opinion is that they should be put in categories for
what they do, rather than where they came from.

I guess that depends what you want to use it for - if you can split bits
out, it would be great to have the code in the main PEAR repository,
however if you just want to make installing new modules easier, it's
probably best to use your own server... the pearweb module in CVS
contains the server side code.
This also brings up another subject - does the PEAR installer support
multiple sources apt-get (Debian installer) style, where it will search
a list of servers for the requested package? I'd love to use it to keep
track of in-house code, but I can't find the option anywhere.
