Can phpDocumentor do that? Version 1.x cannot do this, and could not be modified to do this. version 2.x will be able to do this, and also will have the feature of being able to convert document comments from one type to another (doxygen to phpDocumentor, for example, or Zend Studio crap to phpDocumentor). This is because PHP_Parser allows correct parsing of all PHP code. Of course, I haven't written this yet, but it will make it into at least 2.1 if not 2.0.
