Now I have to postpone the release to next week. Thanks... Could in the future this process be automated as, as time goes by, it seems that the PEAR Group is becoming less and less reliable/available. If a package has been accepted by the community, I don't see why the PEAR Group should have anything more to say. Do we actually care about what the PEAR Group has to say about packages ? No, if the PEAR Group has things to say, well, there is a comment system in PEPr for that. Use it, just like anyone else ! The role of the PEAR Group is somewhere else (I don't know where, but you might know better). So now, just click on the button that says "Validate this proposal" and let's all continue our work. Thank you. This bureaucrary doesn't do any good to PEAR. Bertrand Mansion MamasamHow long do we have to wait for the new package proposal to be accepted ? The documentation says :Go on, line em up, and shot our wonderfull doc team:) when the vote has finished = log into the website, select the 'New Package' link - fill in the details.. - a message gets sent to pear-group. - at this point, you can not upload the release until pear-group approves it. Logic: At present the approval process is not tied into the voting system.. It also gives a human check into the system.. I guess the logic is, if you can wait two weeks for the voting process, a day or so (at worse) delay releasing it, is not that bad..
