Could in the future this process be automated as, as time goes by, it seems that
the PEAR Group is becoming less and less reliable/available.
If a package has been accepted by the community, I don't see why the PEAR Group
should have anything more to say. Do we actually care about what the PEAR Group
has to say about packages ? No, if the PEAR Group has things to say, well, there
is a comment system in PEPr for that. Use it, just like anyone else !
There is a limited scope for rejecting a package (which has never happened)..
If someone gets > 5 votes, but one of the conditions is that they fix the CS stuff. (they somehow respond they dont like PEAR standards, and wont fix it.....)
Usually if you dont get a approved in a few hours - just send a mail to pear-group/pear-dev "Can someone approve my package"..
Or grab one of us on IRC..

alan
This bureaucrary doesn't do any good to PEAR.
