Greetings:
Wow. This has been a long thread. Unfortunately, it seems no consensus
was reached. So, can we please do a simple vote?
1) "How should protected properties (variables) be marked?"
a) no special indicators.
b) preceeded by an underscore (eg $_someVar).
c) preceeded by something else (indicate what).
d) I abstain.
2) "How should protected methods be marked?"
a) no special indicators.
b) preceeded by an underscore (eg _someMethod()).
c) preceeded by something else (indicate what).
d) I abstain.
Please just reply to this message, not everyone elses message, since that
gets confusing. Also, to make it easy to vote, read and tally these,
please snip out all unnecessary text and just leave in the things you're
voting on. So, a sample vote would look like this:
1) "How should protected properties (variables) be marked?"
a) no special indicators.
2) "How should protected methods be marked?"
b) preceeded by an underscore (eg _someMethod()).
Thanks.
