Hi Folks:
Okay, it's been almost a week. Here's the status so far:
6 a) no special indicators.
9 b) preceeded by an underscore (eg $_someVar).
2 c) preceeded by something else (indicate what).
0 d) I abstain.
1 Did not cast a vote.
So, at first glance, the "_" prefix is in the lead.
Upon further examination, the peple who voted for something else said the
indications should be in the @access docblock tag (Ian) or in PHP 5 just
use "protected" in the property declaration (Bertrand). Reading between
the lines, one could say they don't want a prefix.
Plus, Hans didn't really cast a vote, though his arguments indicated he
was averse to having an indicator.
In this light, we have a tie.
If you haven't voted yet, please do so now.
If you are one of the three aforementioned persons and would like to
clarify or change your votes, please post such to the list in response to
this message.
Thanks,
--Dan
