Perfectly possible. I'd still like to use FormBuilder to do it,
though. It's very feature-rich. Editing a single record in-line would
be a snap with the QuickForm horiz renderer I made. Editing multiples
at once will take a little more work. But we do have a patch to add
prefixes to element names...we just have to get around to trying it
out.
