I guess what I see that needs to happen (at least) are two things:
1. A new type of column class (Structures_DataGrid_Column_Editable) which will create an HTML form (something that has been on my mind for a while).
- Which Form class should be used?
- Is QuickForm to bloated for this?
- What about HTML_Form?
- Is it worthwhile to have extra column classes for each datasource type? (ie. s_dg_column_dataobject and s_dg_column_datobject_formbuilder)
2. More advanced data handling
- a new method "bindDataSource" will allow binding of other datasources based on DG source drivers.
- These source drivers will contain functionality for loading the data when needed, etc.
