Everyone and his mother is _free_ to provide php5 packages. I would
love to see more php5, but I cannot force anyone to use only php5.
I cannot force more than 85% [1] of the php server (statistic, but even
with an error factor, it is still the large majority) to migrate now.
Many new applications are developed with php4, for various reasons
(roadmaps, company rules,...), I will not like to refuse php4 package
anytime soon (but a natural selection, as for 4.0, 3.0,...
