Hi Sebastian,
The easiest way to do this would be to do a customized version of what
we do to make the install-pear-nozlib.phar.
What you need to do (and I've had enough requests for this that I am
considering adding a brief manual section once things stabilize) is this:
- look at pear-core/make-installpear-nozlib-phar.php to see how it works
- this requires PHP_Archive 0.8.0 (i.e. CVS version)
- create directory pear-core/PEAR/go-pear-tarballs
- cd pear-core/PEAR/go-pear-tarballs
- pear download -Z whatever_package_you_are_trying_to_install
- open up pear-core/PEAR/Start.php and modify these lines to specify
packages you would like to make sure are installed:
var $corePackages =
array(
'Archive_Tar',
'Console_Getopt',
'PEAR',
);
- cd pear-core
- php make-installpear-nozlib-phar.php and voila - a customized
install-pear-nozlib.phar that installs the package(s) of your choice.
