I am entirely agreed here. With e-mail I have it all in my inbox and I can read it when I want and search it easily (yeah, I use gmail). With a forum how do you keep up to date with new posts? There's either having it IM or e-mail you when new messages arrive and I personally find this to be not a very good solution. A mailing list is a fine place for discussion and help requests. -- Justin Patrin
