I think we are all showing our age a little :) I think the new kids use forums, and to stay current it needs to be debated as such, personal opinion counts but its how to harmonise the community and focus on attracting new developers also for the future of PEAR, if they want foums then I really think thats the way to go, difficult to assess though, cant some forums be synced with a Mailist also I think there are mods for PHPBB ? I am getting used to BeebleX now though, I think this tool should be more prominent on the pear site as its a very useful resource.
