Hello Justin, JP> Please search the archives for e-mails between myself, betrang Gugger, JP> and others on QA. This is almost the same as "you want it - go and find it". You require every user to look for that information into archives? To me the best way QA can do to get rid of this mordancy is to provide a vindication of it's existence. Report would be nice. To my mind easy access to reports on weekly QA activity with archives is a must have requirement without which QA just can't exist. Because of "Assurance" addition. Report is not a flaming thread like this one. I don't believe in QA if I can't be sure it works. I said it many times. As for democratic rules you have here (quite imperfect, BTW, and not too effective) the only thing that stops me from vote of no-confidence to QA is that users just can't do it. =) You want a solution? I can help to find it if you want to work around these nuisances. Though I must say that I don't have an ability to answer quickly. =/ Kind of problems that nobody is interested in, so I want to prevent misunderstandings why there can be no answer. My proposes: - short and descriptive essay about "what is QA here" (highest priority); - weekly based QA reports (highest priority); - tracker to handle QA requests (high priority); - assure dialog between users and developers productive, effective and easy (mainsteam activity); that means to improve relations between both, so nobody will be forced but can act without inner conflicts on the issues arised. That can make everybody more happy, than it is now. - give users ability to vote (lowest priority) I hope that you will not send me to "write it now". I believe. =) t --
