Not trying to cause pain, just pointing out the obvious (again, and again, and again...) because it seems to keep getting lost. But maybe that's just me.Actuallly he was trolling. But we all know that we seem to need guys like you and Anatoly to stick their fingers where it hurts.Stale? Closed? Are you trying to be a troll? He's not trolling. Anyone "outside" PEAR knows exactly what he means; hell, some of us "inside" PEAR know what he means. When you get "if you want docs then you write them, this is open source" it's not exactly a friendly invitation to join the party.
However in this particular case I tend to believe that I feel no pain when someone tells me he sees no connection between the wish to add an example that is ready in source and a feature request form.To be fair to everyone else, perhaps I have lost the thread of this thread. As we all know, PMJ has certain hot-button issues, and will sometimes ignore the specifics of the exchange and start ranting about the general issue. So if I have strayed too far, I apologize. :-) -- pmj
