You both have excellent points. Maybe it would be better for me to remove
the id3tag support from the code I've written and just stick to the
reading/writing parts. If someone needs to read and write both the sound
data and id3 tags then they can just install the two extensions.
Even though that was a bit of a pre-mature proposal it generated some good
feedback. I'll keep the list posted on my progress when I get back from
vacation.
