Hello,
@ Hannes: Can the PECL extensions not be installed in Winxp/vista/7 using
the same method of 'pecl install <packagename>' and enabling in php.ini?
I have tried unzipping the file into a folder and then writing the folder
name as extension. But was messy and did not work. I have just downloaded
UBuntu server, so learning to browse through since some time before I start
using Apache and .htaccess. Any tutorial for .htaccess and apache link that
you use personally?
@ Tyrael: I will have to.. I need the ".dll" help. :-) I will pick up the
Printer, Scanner, DB/ DBase, DB2, Mongo and Winchache from the Pierre link.
I was also helped by Eric with the link. Is there something like PEAR2
Install for PECL Extensions?
@ Richard: I have the Pierre ".dll" download link. I will try and install
most of them from the link. I am using 5.2.x since the 5.3.5 Version did not
move ahead processing giving me a pooling error and server error 500.x in
IIS 7.x and IIS 6.x w/FastCGI. So had to move down to 5.2.x again. Will I
be able to use the 5.3.x downloads on 5.2.x.
I need the following libraries listed as per priority, If some of the
following are already available in 5.2.x, do let me know I will try and test
it right away.
* Math (big_int, stats),
* Mail (mailparse, pop3),
* Database (CUBRID, DBDO, Informix, Ingres, mdbtools, mysql, PDO, PDO_4D,
PDO_CUBRID, PDO_DBLIB, PDO_FIREBIRD, PDO_IBM, PDO_INFORMIX, PDO_MYSQL,
PDO_OCI, PDO_ODBC, PDO_PGSQL, PDO_SQLANYWHERE, PDO_SQLITE, pdo_user,
PDO_XML, sqlanywhere, SQLite)
* Images (GDChart, framegrab, cairo); ** Cairo seems to be in the PEAR
installer.
* Networking (esmtp, event, netools, geoip, ssh2)
* PHP( htscanner),
* Multimedia (ecasound),
* GUI (tk),
* System (dio/ w32api win32ps win32ps_dll)
TnR,
Ganesh
