You are mixing PEAR packages and PECL extensions.
PEAR packages are PHP code installable via "pear install
<packagename>" or downloadable from http://pear.php.net
PECL extensions are usually installable via 'pecl install
<packagename>' too, unless you are on windows.
On Windows you have to hope someone has built a proper DLL for your
platform and PHP version.
Currently the onlyone I know of building these is Pierre. You can try
bribing him to build an dll of the extension you are looking for.
