Hello, Okay that is great! I have been struggling to get this simple thing up and running. Okay here is what I am stuck with for VC++ Compilation. I have downloaded VC++ 2008 Express with SDK, which is VC9. But I have a tough time finding the VC6 version. Here is the link I got, but it says that it is VC Version 8 and not 6.x as mentioned in the package. There is no other Visual C++ 2005 SDK other than Main redistributable and the SP1 redistributable. Is it fine for compilation to ".dll" or will show errors? Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) Version:8.0.50727.762 Date Published:8/27/2007 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=200B2FD9-AE1A-4A14-984D-389C36F85647 Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86) Version:1 Date Published:4/10/2006 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=32BC1BEE-A3F9-4C13-9C99-220B62A191EE TnR, Ganesh >>> @As per Richards Instructions: One note. When you do your installation of the SDK and VC, PLEASE install the SDK first. Make sure it is not the SDK V6.1. As things currently stand, the V7 SDK is not yet supported by PHP. Once you've got the SDK installed, make sure you put on any security updates for the SDK. Then you can install VC9 (VC++ 2008 Express Edition for example). Then install the lastest service pack for VC. >>> On Wed, Apr 20, 2011 at 3:46 PM, Pierre Joye <pierre.php@gmail.com> wrote: > Again, you do NOT need all dependencies to build a PECL extension but > only the dependencies required by the pecl extension itself. > > a simple configure --disable-all --enable-cli --enabl-myext is enough > to build myext. > > Cheers, > > On Wed, Apr 20, 2011 at 11:56 AM, Richard Quadling <rquadling@gmail.com> > wrote: > > On 20 April 2011 10:47, Ganesh Bhat <ganeshsurfs@gmail.com> wrote: > >> Hello Pierre, > >> I have just downloaded VC++.
