On the same deal, my 4.2.x unix box with code as described in my bug
report (sorry for starting a war guys) also didn't work on my unix box!!
it duplicated the To: line.. so my mailer picked it up and got confused.
So, its not sendmail, as sendmail is just letting two To: lines through,
it will act on both I think.. as its valid.. Its PHP which is possibly
sending extra To lines when not required..
Im also surprised these are separate for windows/unix..
Given that all COULD just goto the SMTP port on the given server and
ignore the mailer program entirely, (and that's after all what sendmail
mimics when done interactive as throguh command) .. I don't see why the
code should be separate except if you want to for windows to do \r\n and
unix to do \n - it would make sense to use both together.. and have
either..
