Oddly enough, I was ORIGINALLY running in Apache module, AND connecting
successfully with the oci8 functions... but with the latest dev release (with
the maintenance zip), module mode stopped working (apache GPF on service load),
and I'm not sure why. Haven't had a chance to undo/redo/debug the process yet.
But, I am still connecting without problems in CGI mode. Not sure if there's
something odd with the latest php4apache.dll, the php_oci8.dll (though I don't
think so, same dll under cgi & module), or something else in php4ts.dll (I got a
weird message at one point with this). IF I get to debugging why the latest
module isn't working for me, I'll report my findings to both Daniel and here on
the list.
