Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-05-23 09:16:51] philip@php.net 4.3.0 is old, please try the 4.3.2RC4 found at: http://qa.php.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-05-23 07:01:18] ward at pong dot be This bug persists. I am suffering from it on two linux systems, both with Apache 1.3.27 and PHP 4.3.0. Both have 2.4 kernels. I use open_basedir in virtualhosts. I used to simply NOT define it for virtual hosts that shouldn't have it, but that resulted in these errors. Now I use: php_admin_value open_basedir none And the effect is the same: some threads get confused and give open_basedir errors. Reloading the page until you hit a non-confused thread solves the issue. Not sure if that's a freshly started thread, or just one that was started with as first request the virtual host one's trying to see now. I think it's about time this one is dealt with. It has been open for 8 months now! PHP developers, PLEASE!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-05-19 08:11:01] magz at bop dot nu Can someone from the php-staff please have a look at this again? From my point of view the status of this bugreport should be Critical! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-05-17 22:42:19] zen at heavengames dot com Nevermind the previous message - it's still happening, altho on a lesser basis. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The remainder of the comments for this report are too long.
