I also don't see a 5 day freeze period as a big problem. With the way
we're developing now, we're bound to keep having the same screw-ups
we've been having. Why not be a little more disciplined? Just because
we're an OpenSource project doesn't mean that we can't adhere to a
schedule.
Looking into possibly creating a QA team would definitely be a good
idea.
