Good grief - I'm away for a few days and everything blows up.
First of all, the generator should be automatically detecting the gtk
library version you're building against and ONLY include those
overrides/defs. That's what the numbers after the include statements are
for (include "blah.def" "2.10") If you're building against 2.6 and
getting the 2.10 overrides included in your generated files (after
deleting the def caches) then there is an issue with the generator
system. I know at one point someone had taken out the strings around
the "2.10" in the override file which borked things (php will juggle
that to 2.1 instead of 2.10 which makes version_compare not work as
expected)
I thought I put BACK all those quotes but I might have missed some.
Now, if you're building against the 2.6 gtk libs and the 2.10 defs and
libs ARE being included - we have an issue. Look at the configure and
make sure your library version is being detected correctly and make sure
you're using at least 5.2.x as the php binary to do the generation (I
know earlier version of php had issues) I've managed to build cvs
against 2.6, 2.8, 2.10 and 2.12 libs successfully on Windows Steph, so
I'd venture to say that something is rotten in the state of Denmark if
you're getting the wrong defs included. Maybe the detection in the
windows build system is borked.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
