If we alter curlwrappers to work like that, then it could stay, and since this is an experimental feature we can break BC just as much as we like for it. Allowing overrides to core features is indeed a very bad idea and can cause headaches like this one, I won't go too much into this now as we also have the phpconfopts() thread going where theres probably gonna be some more discussions regarding this subject in general. -- regards, Kalle Sommer Nielsen kalle@php.net
