Thanks for your input alex. What abt cdb files. Is it different for
every platform? Also, do the older php versions support reading cdb. We
don't need write capabalities.
The issue that I already see with cdb is that php should have been
compiled with the option. I guess this would again pose a problem as
most mirrors wouldn't have choosen this option at compile time.
As accordingly to my earlier mail, I guess we are left with no option at
the moment other than some type of fast text file search so that every
mirror can deploy the same soln.
