Please don't overestimate PEAR's position in comparison to other open
source projects: FreeBSD plays a much more important role nowadays and
they have really good reasons for having such a donation system.
Having such a system for PEAR will make the project look bigheaded,
since we simply aren't playing in the same league than Linux, BSD and a
few other projects yet.
