Hi,

Caught a bit of this - Im not sure centralized paypal is going to do an amazing amount of good..(somebody has to maintain it etc..) - however from having put up paypal dontations on my site (and being very gratefull for those that have donated).. I would suggest a few things if somebody has time to do them: have a "donate to the author" as an alternative to the wishlist thing. get the authorlists, wishlists and donate buttons in the manual on the related page (more work for peardoc2 :) +1
I like the comment about most people only donating when something goes wrong and they need it fixing - there's alot to be said for carefully placed bugs. :) Maybe its good to have something like a bug counter for each package?I mean not bugus bugs I mean "real" bugs. Maybe then the developers take more care about their source code. bye, -- ------------------------------- ------------------------------------- Michael Bretterklieber - Michael.Bretterklieber@jawa.at JAWA Management Software GmbH - http://www.jawa.at Liebenauer Hauptstr. 200 -------------- privat --------------- A-8041 GRAZ GSM: ++43-(0)676-93 96 698 Tel: ++43-(0)316-403274-12 E-mail: michael@bretterklieber.com Fax: ++43-(0)316-403274-10 http://www.bretterklieber.com ------------------------------- ------------------------------------- "...the number of UNIX installations has grown to 10, with more expected..." - Dennis Ritchie and Ken Thompson, June 1972
