Ok, some background on my attitude: I first proposed my changes to this list around October 2002. Several people tested my class and found it good. Pierre-Alain didn't do this, citing lack of time. In fact he never ever bothered to look at my code since then and/or to contact me. Now I come back with the solution which has most of the problems raised back then corrected. Pierre-Alain without even bothering to look at my code again says "no", giving no reasons whatsoever. Now, he is NOT the original author of IT (it was written by Ulf Wendel). He does a poor job of maintaining it (I gave an example: ITX's error handling is completely broken). His last commit was 5 months ago. And you could see _his_ attitude quite well. I apologize to list subscribers for my tone. I am a new one here, so should have behaved better.'Cause here we have a person, who is named "lead developer", yet have done nothing to actually develop and is now clearly saying that he will not allow outside contributions from persons whom he does not like. I am well aware that I am not the best person to communicate to, but I at least have some work done and want to present it to the community.Nobody is named "lead developer". PA is "lead", and my perception of his role is as a maintainer. But he still needs to be "lead" for practical reasons. Please take that attitude of yours somewhere else. There's enough people who can get work done _without_ acting like total jerks. If you want to get anywhere with this, I suggest trying to cooperate rather than pissing people off.
