+100 here. That is question i am asking since a start using PEAR packages.
The main motivation was productivity.
But when you start looking at source codes, trying to figure out how to use
that nice package you loose the point. You even starts trying to do better.
Since we have a nice xml package control, why not include mandatory tags for
doc (minimal maybe) AND examples.
And while we are on this thread, why not put a page about etiquete demands on
developers. Or something like a ranking: this guy listen to you, that one is a
nice one to work with, that one is a pain in the a*. This is a joke in case
someone want to starts a new flame war...
