Yes, of course. But the absence of rules in the past is not a good
reason to avoid creating rules, don't you think ?
However, I'm repeating me, but I think that A LOT of users will simply
pear uninstall package and go look somewhere else or even worse: write
their own script / class / function / crap...
I still believe that PEAR is here for PHP users to use it, and not for
PEAR developers or very enthusiast developers.
Blame me if you want :)
