IMHO the current use of Hungarian Notation is pretty much worthless, especially in already typed languages (which, of course, PHP is not).I know that the hungarian notation is a story of misunderstandings, and many people don't do it right (as understood in the original context), myself included. Since the time I started programming, I tried many variable naming conventions, and I got stuck with my own version of the hungarian notation. Some people don't like it, my company has adopted it, and I'm happy with it. Currently it's not against PEAR CS, so I will continue being happy :)
