Stefano,Great, I've seen it.- you're relying only on the English/US and German naming of the respective directories. What about other languages?I added support for some more languages, at least for the Windows AppData directory.
What would help is if people could tell me if the "Documents" and "Desktop" directory (below the home dir) are named "Documents" and "Desktop" between the languages (so that the directory is language-independent named).Just ask the PEAR-Dev list directly with a separate e-mail. The chances are high that people will give you some answers.
That's excellent indeed. However, I'm still of the opinion that you should extract all $arKnownNames and $arKnownPaths to a separate file for easy updating, without having to touch the code. At the end of the day it's up to you. Just my 0.02!- would it make sense to you, if the paths' known names would be extracted to a separate fileScott Mattocks had the same wish, and I implemented System_Folders_Cached now. It allows you to save and load the folder settings to/from an ini file.
Good. -- Stefano- what about a MacOS support? Maybe someone out of the community can give you the respective paths' names. Just ask for it.Is basically implemented, just waiting for some answers regarding the user name.
