Hey all, If elected, I have quite a few goals which I would favor, but here's a summary of things I consider essential. 1. Better communication and documentation resources for developers and users. Enhancing documentation coverage and resources related to documentation - I do applaud the efforts of David's recent improvements to pearweb, and I'm in favor of many more. 2. A more approachable development process to gain quality developers. I would favor a more lenient package approval process which will allow more developers to consider contributing code. 3. Expanding PEAR's usage as a viable distribution platform. By this I mean utilizing channels to create a harmony of useful development resources to the PHP community and promoting it's usage. My gratitude to the fine PEAR developers for encouraging my nomination, and best wishes for this election....
